## What it returns

Mastodon posts by account (user@instance) or hashtag, trending posts, hashtags and links, profiles and account search, from each instance's public REST API. No login.

Charged per row returned.

## Request

`POST https://api.pushbuild.com/mastodon-scraper/run` with a JSON body. Send your key in the `X-API-Key` header.

| `mode` | string: accountPosts, hashtag, trendingPosts, trendingTags, trendingLinks, profiles, searchAccounts | What to fetch. Default: `"accountPosts"`. |
| `accounts` | list of strings | user@instance, e.g. Gargron@mastodon.social (posts and profiles modes). |
| `hashtags` | list of strings | Without #, e.g. nvidia (hashtag mode; read from the chosen instance). |
| `instance` | string | Instance for hashtag, trends and search modes. Default: `"mastodon.social"`. |
| `query` | string | Search accounts mode. |
| `since` | string | ISO date or time; older posts are skipped. |
| `includeReplies` | boolean | Posts by account: include replies. Default: `false`. |
| `includeBoosts` | boolean | Include boosted (reblogged) posts. Default: `false`. |
| `maxItems` | integer | Maximum items to return (1-500). Default: `100`. |

Each call returns up to 500 items. Records that fail validation or are not found are flagged in the items and not charged.
