# Spanish Christmas Lottery Results API (El Gordo)

Lotería de Navidad (El Gordo, Dec 22) and El Niño (Jan 6) results from SELAE: winning numbers by prize, the prize any ticket number won, and the towns and outlets that sold each top prize. Live during the draw.

## What it returns

Results of Spain's Lotería de Navidad (Sorteo Extraordinario de Navidad, "El Gordo", drawn every December 22) and El Niño (January 6) from Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (SELAE). Each top prize comes with its winning number and the prize per ticket. You can send ticket numbers and get back the exact prize each one won, or get the towns and lottery outlets that sold each top prize. On draw day the results are live: the API reads SELAE's provisional results while the draw is running and the final results once SELAE closes it.

Used by news sites, lottery-check apps, ticket-sharing groups (peñas, companies and associations that split décimos) and anyone who wants the numbers in a spreadsheet the moment they are drawn.

## Request

`POST https://api.pushbuild.com/spanish-christmas-lottery-results/run` with a JSON body. Send your key in the `X-API-Key` header.

| `years` | list of strings | Draw years, e.g. [2024, 2025]. Default: the latest draw held (the current year's once it has started). |
| `numbers` | list of strings | 5-digit ticket numbers. Returns the prize per décimo and per series for each. Leave empty to list the winning numbers. |
| `includeWhereSold` | boolean | Add the towns, provinces and outlets that sold each top prize. Default: `false`. |
| `maxItems` | integer | Maximum items to return (1-500). Default: `100`. |

Each call returns up to 500 items. Records that fail validation or are not found are flagged in the items and not charged.
