How we protect your business

You decide what we can do

Pushbuild Connect has three switches: See my screen, Help with tasks, and Record sessions. Turn any of them off at any time, in the app or in your account, and it takes effect immediately.

We can't start working on your computer on our own. Your device has to be connected, the right switch has to be on, and every session states what it's for.

You always know when we're there

While Pushbuild is active you'll see a teal "Pushbuild is helping" badge with a Stop button. Stop ends the session instantly. Sessions also end on their own after two hours.

Your account's Activity page lists everything: who connected, what they did, and when.

Passwords stay private

We never record what you type into password fields, and our session recordings blank out everything typed into forms. When you choose to share a login with us, it's encrypted before it's stored. Every time anyone at Pushbuild uses it, that shows up in your Activity log with the reason.

Viewing saved logins in your account requires two-step sign-in. Devices can add logins but can never read them back.

The details

• Everything travels over encrypted connections (TLS).
• Files, saved logins, invoices and recordings are encrypted at rest with a key unique to your organisation (AES-256-GCM). That key is itself encrypted with a master key kept separately from the database.
• Your organisation's data is isolated from every other client's. Automated tests check that isolation.
• The browser extension only runs a fixed set of actions built into it. It never downloads or runs code from our servers.
• The desktop app pauses whenever you're using the mouse or keyboard, so it never fights you for control.
• Remove a device from your account and it's cut off immediately.
• Session recordings are kept for 30 days unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• "Learning your tools" only runs after you say yes, for the days shown, and notes app and website names and time only: no screenshots, no window titles, nothing you type. You can stop it or delete it any time.
• Our team works alongside AI assistants, so your conversations and requests may be handled by people, AI tools, or both.
