Privacy Policy
Version 2026-10-22. This Privacy Policy explains how Pushbuild LLC ("Pushbuild", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information through pushbuild.com and its subdomains, our APIs, our website chat, our newsletter, the client area, and Pushbuild Connect (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you acknowledge this Policy. It forms part of our Terms of Use.
Where we perform work for a client, the client decides what data we handle on its systems, and we process that data on the client's behalf under our agreement with that client. Questions about that data should go to the client.
1. Information we collect
You give us: name, email address, phone number, company, role, project details, messages, files, business notes and anything else you send through forms, chat, email, phone, text messages, the client area or Connect; account and sign-in details; billing contact and payment details (card data is handled by our payment processor, not stored by us); and any credentials you choose to share with us so we can do the work you ask for.
Collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, time and date, approximate location derived from IP, and API request logs. We record advertising click identifiers and campaign tags (such as gclid, msclkid and utm parameters) and the page you landed on, in a first-party cookie, and send them with forms you submit, so we can tell which ads work. We use a self-hosted analytics tool that does not use cross-site tracking cookies. We may test page variations and record which version you saw.
Through Pushbuild Connect, only while you have a session open and have allowed it: what is on your screen, the pages and applications you use during the session, and session recordings and walkthroughs you choose to make. Form input values are masked in recordings by default, and you can hide parts of a site. See the Connect End User License Agreement.
From others: advertising and marketplace platforms, business directories, referral partners and public sources.
2. How we use it
To provide, operate and support the Services and the work you engage us for; to communicate with you, including about inquiries, projects and invoices; to send newsletters and marketing (you can opt out at any time); to measure and improve our website, ads and Services; to secure the Services and prevent fraud and abuse; to keep business records; to enforce our agreements; and to comply with law.
We use software tools from our service providers, including automated and machine-learning tools, to help us process, organize, transcribe, summarize and respond to information you send us and to perform the work you engage us for.
3. How we share it
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except as described for ad measurement below. We share it with: - Service providers that host, store, transmit or process data for us, including cloud hosting and storage, email delivery, telephone and text messaging, payment processing, analytics, customer communications, and software and machine-learning tools. They may use it only to provide services to us. - Advertising platforms (such as Google and Microsoft), limited to click identifiers and conversion events, so we can measure ad performance. - Third-party platforms you direct us to use in performing work for you. - Professional advisers, insurers and auditors. - Authorities and others where we believe it is required by law, legal process or to protect the rights, property or safety of Pushbuild, our clients or others. - A buyer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of assets. - Anyone else with your consent or at your direction.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies and similar technologies: to keep you signed in to the client area, to remember ad attribution (pb_attr, kept 90 days), and to run page tests. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; some features may not work. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
5. Retention
We keep personal information as long as we need it for the purposes above, including for as long as you are a client and for a reasonable period after for records, tax, legal claims and backups. Connect session recordings are kept for the duration of the engagement and then deleted or archived as our records practices allow. We may keep de-identified or aggregated information indefinitely.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee security. You are responsible for the security of your devices, accounts and credentials, and for promptly rotating any credential you shared with us when an engagement ends.
7. Health and sensitive information
Our Services are not designed for protected health information under HIPAA or other sensitive data. Do not send it to us, share it through Connect, or display it during a Connect session. We do not sign business associate agreements. If we learn we have received such data, we may delete it.
