Pushbuild

From idea or spreadsheet to a working app.

Whether it's a product for customers or a tool for your team, the first version should do one job well and be built to keep. We build it in your accounts, show it working at every milestone, and hand over the code.

Sound familiar?

Signs this is costing you time every week.

  • The idea is clear, but every quote is for a six-month build.
  • A no-code prototype got you this far and has hit its limits.
  • Your team runs on forms, email and a spreadsheet that holds it all together.
  • You need something real to put in front of pilot customers.

Where it comes up

The same problem looks a little different in each kind of business.

Founders

A first version to test with real users.

Operations teams

Education and training

Course, booking or member areas.

How we work

A written scope first, then working progress you can check, then a proper handover.

  1. You describe it

Tell us what you need in your own words, and which tools you already use. A few lines is plenty to start.

  2. A written scope

We reply with a short written scope: what gets built, what is out of scope, which accounts we need, and how we'll both know it works. You know what you're getting before work begins.

  3. Milestones you review

The work is split into milestones. At each one you see it working in your own account and sign it off before we go on.

  4. Handover and a 30-day fix window

You get the working system, its documentation and a walkthrough. If anything we built breaks in the next 30 days, we fix it at no charge.

Pushbuild has built software for businesses since 2010, for more than 40 clients. Every project is led by a former public-company CTO, from Groton, Massachusetts. See products we've built.

Questions people ask first

Who owns the code?

You do, from the first commit. It lives in your repository and runs in your hosting.

Can you take over an app someone else started?

Often. We review it first and tell you in writing what is worth keeping.

Do you build phone apps?

Every web app we build works in a phone browser. App-store apps are scoped separately.

Tell us what you need built.

Email a few lines about the problem and the tools you use, or call. We reply with questions or a written scope.
