Pushbuild

A Shopify store that runs itself.

We build what the app store doesn't sell: private apps, inventory and order sync with your warehouse or ERP, theme sections that match your design, and speed fixes, so your team spends the day on customers, not copy and paste.

Sound familiar?

Signs this is costing you time every week.

  • Stock in Shopify and stock in the warehouse never agree.
  • Someone re-types orders into QuickBooks or the ERP every morning.
  • Four apps from the app store, and none does quite what you need.
  • The theme looks fine on desktop and slow and broken on phones.

Where it comes up

The same problem looks a little different in each kind of business.

Direct-to-consumer brands

Subscriptions, bundles and custom product options.

Wholesale and B2B

Price lists, order approval and ERP sync.

Multi-channel sellers

Stock and orders across Shopify, Amazon and marketplaces.

Local retail

In-store and online stock in one place.

Ways to start

Three example packages, from a single fix to a complete system. Yours gets its own written scope.

Package 1

For: A store with a list of things that don't look or work right.

Theme fixes and new sections built from your design, tested on phones.

You get

  • Fixes from your list, each tested
  • New sections editable in the theme editor
  • Phone and desktop checked
  • A short note on each change

Package 2

Store connected to operations

For: A store whose orders and stock are handled by hand.

Orders, stock and customers synced with your warehouse, ERP or accounting.

You get

  • Order and stock sync with your system
  • Field mapping agreed in writing
  • Run log and failure alerts
  • A test log of order, refund and stock cases

Package 3

Custom app

For: A store that needs something no app-store app does.

A private app for your store: admin actions, checkout or order logic, or a custom integration.

You get

  • A private app installed on your store
  • Admin or checkout extension as needed
  • Hosting in your account
  • Notes on running and changing it

How we work

You know what you're getting before work begins, and you see it working at every milestone.

  1. You describe it

Tell us what you need in your own words, and which tools you already use. A few lines is plenty to start.

  2. A written scope

We reply with a short written scope: what gets built, what is out of scope, which accounts we need, and how we'll both know it works. You know what you're getting before work begins.

  3. Milestones you review

The work is split into milestones. At each one you see it working in your own account and sign it off before we go on.

  4. Handover and a 30-day fix window

You get the working system, its documentation and a walkthrough. If anything we built breaks in the next 30 days, we fix it at no charge.

Pushbuild has built software for businesses since 2010, for more than 40 clients. Every project is led by a former public-company CTO, from Groton, Massachusetts. See products we've built.

Questions people ask first

Do you work on any Shopify plan?

Yes. Some features, such as certain checkout changes, need Shopify Plus; we say in the scope if yours does.

Will our theme updates break your changes?

We build sections the theme editor understands and note every file we touch, so updates are easy to check.

Can you speed up our store?

Yes. We measure first, fix the biggest causes, and give you before-and-after numbers.

Tell us what you need built.

Email a few lines about the problem and the tools you use, or call. We reply with questions or a written scope.
