How the audit works

Install Connect and choose what we may see
Connect is our app for your computer and your browser. The audit is off until you turn it on, and only on the computers you pick. A badge shows while it runs, with Pause. Stop on the badge is coming.

Work as you normally do
For about a week, Connect notes which programs and websites you use and for how long, and the steps behind each job: the pages, the buttons clicked and the names of the fields filled in. It never keeps what you type.

Look over your own week
You see your own steps first, in your client area. Name the jobs, mark the tedious ones and the ones we should not touch, and delete anything private. We see them after 24 hours, or sooner if the owner presses Share.

We find the work worth automating
We look for the same run of steps coming back day after day and rank it by the time it takes each week. We watch the steps through, and when something is unclear we point to that spot on your screen and ask.

You get a written report
The jobs worth automating, in order, with how each one would work in the tools you already use and what it would take. Then we build the ones you pick, or you keep the report and decide later.

The audit runs through Pushbuild Connect, built so you stay in charge of what we see.
- The audit is off until you turn it on, and only on the computers you choose.
- A badge shows while it runs, with Pause. Stop on the badge is coming.
- It records steps and field names, never what is typed. Passwords and sign-in details are never recorded.
- Turn on Mask my details and names, numbers and addresses are replaced on your computer before anything leaves it.
- You see your own steps first and can delete any part of them.
- Every start, stop and recording is written to an activity log you can read.
- You can delete what was collected from your client area.
- We do not run it on computers used for patient records.
Questions
How long does it take?
About a week of normal work, then we write up what we found. A single person's audit can be shorter.
Will my team know it is running?
Yes. It runs only on computers where it has been switched on, and a badge shows while it runs.
Do we have to automate with you afterwards?
No. The report is yours. Most clients start with the first item on the list, but you can stop at the report.
What if we already know what we want automated?
Then skip the audit and tell us the job. The audit is for when you know there is time to win back but not where.
