Pushbuild

Notion built around how your team works, and connected to everything else.

We design your Notion databases and templates, connect Notion to the tools you already use through its API, and automate the updates nobody wants to do by hand. Everything is built in your own workspace, with a guide so your team can run it.

Sound familiar?

What we hear from businesses before a project like this starts.

  • Our Notion started tidy and now nobody can find anything in it.
  • We copy the same updates between Notion and our CRM, inbox or spreadsheets every day.
  • Clients or partners need to see their own projects without getting the whole workspace.
  • Notion's built-in automations stop short of what we need.
  • Every report means exporting Notion to a spreadsheet and counting by hand.

What buyers usually need

The requests that come up most often for this kind of work, and what each one takes to work properly.

01

Databases that fit your work

Projects, clients, tasks and documents as linked databases, with the properties, relations and rollups you actually use.

02

Templates people use

Database templates and buttons that set up a new project, client or meeting the same way every time.

03

Notion connected to your tools

Links with your CRM, forms, calendar, email or accounting through the Notion API, n8n, Make or Zapier, in one or both directions.

04

Updates that happen on their own

Pages created, assigned and moved along from forms, email and other apps, with reminders when something stalls.

05

Views for people outside the team

Client or partner pages that show only their own records.

06

Reports without exporting

Summaries and charts from your Notion data that stay up to date.

Tools that come up most: Notion, Notion API, Notion databases, templates and buttons, n8n, Make, Zapier, Google Workspace, Slack and Softr.

How we approach it

The habits that keep this kind of project from going wrong.

1

Structure first

We agree the databases and relations with you before building, because restructuring later is the expensive part.

2

Your workspace, your data

Everything is built in your own Notion workspace. We are added as members for the work and removed at handover.

3

Integrations written down

Each connection is documented: what it moves, how often, and what happens when something fails.

4

Yours to run

The guide is written so your team can change things without us.

How we work

You describe it. We write it down, build it, and hand it over.

  1. You describe it

Tell us what you need in your own words, and which tools you already use. A few lines is plenty to start.

  2. A written scope

We reply with a short written scope: what gets built, what is out of scope, which accounts we need, and how we'll both know it works. You know what you're getting before work begins.

  3. Milestones you review

The work is split into milestones. At each one you see it working in your own account and sign it off before we go on.

  4. Handover and a 30-day fix window

You get the working system, its documentation and a walkthrough. If anything we built breaks in the next 30 days, we fix it at no charge.

What shapes the scope

  • How many databases and people use it
  • How much existing content needs moving
  • Which other tools it connects to
  • Notion plan and API limits

Always included

  • A written scope before work starts
  • Milestones you review and sign off
  • Documentation and a walkthrough at handover
  • A 30-day window for fixes, at no charge

Pushbuild has built software for businesses since 2010, for more than 40 clients. Every project is led by a former public-company CTO, from Groton, Massachusetts. See example builds.

Questions people ask first

Notion or Airtable: which is right?

Notion suits documents, wikis and project tracking; Airtable suits heavier structured records and permissions. We recommend one in the scope, and our Notion and Airtable page covers the Airtable side.

Can you connect Notion to our other tools?

Yes. The Notion API can read and write pages and databases, so we link Notion to your CRM, forms, calendar or accounting directly or through n8n, Make or Zapier.

Can clients see their own projects?

Yes, through shared pages or a portal tool, limited to their own records.

Do you need my login?

No. Add us as a member with the access the scope needs and remove us at handover.

How long does it take?

Most builds take one to three weeks from the signed scope, mostly depending on how much content needs moving.

What happens after handover?

For 30 days we repair anything we built that does not work as the scope describes, at no charge. After that, further work is scoped the same way and agreed with you before we start.

Do it once, we automate it. Show us the job one time and it runs on its own after that, in the tools you already use. Not sure where to start? Start with an Automation Audit.

Tell us what you need built.

Email a few lines about what you want and which tools you use, or call. We reply with questions or a written scope.
