Pushbuild

Zaps that work, and stay working.

We build Zaps for real business processes, repair the ones that fail or double up, and tidy an account that has grown one Zap at a time. Everything is built in your own Zapier account, tested with real records, and written down so your team can follow it. If your task bill is the problem, we show you where it goes and how to bring it down. Whether you need Zapier integration help for one process or want to hire a Zapier expert to look after the whole account, the work is scoped in writing before it starts.

Sound familiar?

What we hear from businesses before a project like this starts.

  • A Zap stopped working and we only found out when a customer complained.
  • We have dozens of Zaps and nobody remembers what half of them do.
  • Our Zapier bill keeps climbing as task counts go up.
  • Records arrive twice, or not at all, and we can't tell which Zap did it.
  • We need a step Zapier doesn't have a built-in action for.
  • The person who set up our Zaps has left.

What buyers usually need

The requests that come up most often for this kind of work, and what each one takes to work properly.

01

New Zaps for one process

Lead capture, order sync, invoicing or reporting, built step by step with filters, paths and formatter steps where they are needed.

02

Failing Zaps repaired

Each failure traced from the Zap history, repaired at the cause, and tested again with the record that failed.

03

An account you can follow

Zaps named, foldered and described, unused ones switched off, and a list of what each one does and who owns it.

04

Fewer tasks

Filters moved earlier, duplicate Zaps merged and polling replaced with webhooks, so each record costs fewer tasks.

05

Steps Zapier doesn't have

Webhooks, Code by Zapier and API requests for apps or actions without a built-in step.

06

Alerts when something fails

Errors sent to the right person in email or Slack, with what failed and the record it was working on.

Tools that come up most: Zapier (Zaps, Paths, Filters, Formatter, Tables, Interfaces), Webhooks by Zapier, Code by Zapier, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, Google Sheets, Airtable, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Shopify, Stripe, Gmail and Outlook, Slack, Typeform, Jotform, Calendly.

What you get

Concrete pieces, each one something you can open and check when it's done.

How we approach it

The habits that keep this kind of project from going wrong.

1

Your account, your name

We build in your Zapier account through access you can remove at any time.

2

Test with real records

Every Zap is run with real examples before it is switched on, and the results are written down.

3

Failures are loud

Every Zap that matters gets an alert path that tells a person.

How we work

You describe it. We write it down, build it, and hand it over.

  1. You describe it

Tell us what you need in your own words, and which tools you already use. A few lines is plenty to start.

  2. A written scope

We reply with a short written scope: what gets built, what is out of scope, which accounts we need, and how we'll both know it works. You know what you're getting before work begins.

  3. Milestones you review

The work is split into milestones. At each one you see it working in your own account and sign it off before we go on.

  4. Handover and a 30-day fix window

You get the working system, its documentation and a walkthrough. If anything we built breaks in the next 30 days, we fix it at no charge.

What shapes the scope

  • How many Zaps or processes
  • Apps without built-in steps
  • How much clean-up the account needs
  • Volume of records

Always included

  • A written scope before work starts
  • Milestones you review and sign off
  • Documentation and a walkthrough at handover
  • A 30-day window for fixes, at no charge

Pushbuild has built software for businesses since 2010, for more than 40 clients. Every project is led by a former public-company CTO, from Groton, Massachusetts. See example builds.

Questions people ask first

Do we need a particular Zapier plan?

Multi-step Zaps, Paths and some apps need a paid plan. We tell you in the scope which features the work uses, so you know what plan it needs before we start.

Should we stay on Zapier or move to Make or n8n?

For most small teams Zapier is the right place to stay. If your task bill is high, we show you the numbers for each option and you decide. Our free Zapier cost check gives you a first look.

Will our Zaps stop while you work on them?

No. We build and test changes alongside the live Zaps and switch over once the test log matches.

Can you repair a Zap someone else built?

Yes. We read the Zap history to find where it fails, repair it at the cause and write down what changed.

What happens after handover?

For 30 days we repair anything we built that does not work as the scope describes, at no charge. After that, further work is scoped the same way and agreed with you before we start.

Do it once, we automate it. Show us the job one time and it runs on its own after that, in the tools you already use. Not sure where to start? Start with an Automation Audit.

Tell us what you need built.

Email a few lines about what you want and which tools you use, or call. We reply with questions or a written scope.
