What it returns
Search arXiv, the open preprint server for physics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative biology, quantitative finance, statistics, electrical engineering and economics. Metadata is CC0.
arXiv ID and version, title, abstract, authors, primary and all categories, first published and last updated dates, DOI, journal reference, author comment, abstract page and PDF links.
Common uses
Research monitoring and alerts for a field or category, literature datasets, paper recommendation and search tools, citation and trend analysis, feeding new papers to reading lists.
Requests are paced to arXiv's published limit of one every three seconds, so large runs take time.
