What it returns
The WordPress.org plugin and theme directory through its official public API: about 60,000 plugins and 13,000 themes.
Slug, name, version, author, rating and number of ratings, active installs, total downloads, support threads and how many were resolved, required WordPress and PHP versions, tested-up-to version, last updated and added dates, short description, tags, homepage, download link and directory URL.
Common uses
Plugin market research, competitor tracking, agency site audits, vulnerability and compatibility monitoring, lead lists of plugin vendors.
