What it returns
Under MiFIR, every EU/EEA trading venue reports reference data for each instrument it admits or trades to ESMA's Financial Instruments Reference Data System (FIRDS). This API searches that register: 300 million+ records covering shares, bonds, ETFs, certificates, futures, options and swaps.
One row per ISIN: full and short name, CFI code and instrument class, issuer LEI, currency, commodity-derivative flag, bond terms (maturity, fixed rate, nominal issued and unit, seniority), derivative terms (expiry, price multiplier, underlying ISIN, delivery type, option type, strike), every venue record (MIC, status, first and last trading date, admission approval, issuer request, competent authority, publication date), venue and active-venue counts, first trading date and the ESMA register link.
Common uses
Mapping an ISIN to the EU venues where it trades, finding every listed security and derivative of an issuer by LEI, listing derivatives and certificates on an underlying, checking bond maturities and coupons, CFI classification for compliance and transaction reporting, and security master enrichment.

activeOnly | boolean | Skip venue records that are terminated or cancelled. Default: false. |
maxItems | integer | Maximum items to return (1-500). Default: 100. |
