Isn't there a QuickBooks add-on for Sheets?

There are add-ons that pull single reports. We build around them when you need a schedule, several reports in a set layout, or data going back into QuickBooks.

Will it change our existing data?

Only in the ways agreed. Everything is tested on a copy or a sandbox first, and we keep a log of every change.

Does it work with Excel instead?

Yes. The same data can refresh an Excel file in OneDrive or SharePoint.
