What it returns
Federal documents on regulations.gov (proposed rules, final rules, notices, RFIs) with their comment periods, deadlines and comment counts; one row per docket with open documents, the next deadline and comment totals; and public comment listings for HHS-family agencies (CMS, FDA, CDC, HHS, NIH, HRSA, SAMHSA, AHRQ, IHS, ACF, ATSDR, ACL, OIG), with full comment text on request. Rebuilt daily from the official regulations.gov API.
documents: documentId, docketId, agencyId, documentType, subtype, title, frDocNum, postedDate, commentStartDate, commentEndDate, commentDeadline (Eastern date), openNow, commentCount, commentCountAt, lastModifiedDate, firstSeen, url, federalRegisterUrl. dockets: docketId, agencyId, latestDocumentTitle, documents, openDocuments, nextCommentDeadline, commentCount, commentsListed, lastCommentPosted, documentTypes, url. comments: commentId, docketId, agencyId, title, submitter, postedDate, url; with includeText also comment, organization, firstName, lastName, city, stateProvinceCode, country, category, commentOnDocumentId.

includeText | boolean | Comments: fetch the full comment text, organization, location and category live for the first 50 results. Default: false. |
postedFrom | string | Posted on or after this date. |
postedTo | string | Posted on or before this date. |
updatedSince | string | Last modified on or after this date. |
sort | string: updated, closing, posted, comments | Order of results (comments are always newest first). Default: "updated". |
maxItems | integer | Maximum items to return (1-500). Default: 100. |
