What it returns
Every US initial public offering starts with a registration statement on SEC EDGAR (Form S-1, or F-1 for foreign issuers), is revised through amendments, and ends with a final prospectus filed under Rule 424(b)(4) once the deal is priced. This API returns those filings, newest first, one row per filing. - **Market-wide**: the latest filings across EDGAR (default: last 7 days), optionally filtered by company name - **By company**: tickers or CIKs; every matching filing in the date range

Offering terms appear where the filing states them: amendments without a fee table, and prospectus covers with unusual wording, leave those fields empty.
