What it returns
WARN Act notices of mass layoffs and plant closures, filed with US state labor departments, in one schema: company, city or location, notice date, effective date, workers affected and notice type (layoff or closure, permanent or temporary), plus each state's other published fields under details.
23 states: Alaska, Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington and Wisconsin. About 36,000 notices; history depth depends on the state (California from 2008, Illinois from 1987). Refreshed weekly.
New Jersey and Pennsylvania publish only the effective date, so noticeFrom/noticeTo skip their notices; filter them with effectiveFrom/effectiveTo.

groupBy | string: state, month, year, company, noticeType, location | Return counts of notices and affected workers instead of notices. |
maxItems | integer | Maximum items to return (1-500). Default: 100. |
