Venezuelans' asylum grant rate fell from 56% to 7%

In fiscal 2024, 56.4% of decided Venezuelan asylum cases were granted; in fiscal 2026, 6.8%. Indians fell from 60.8% to 4.9%, Chinese from 72.1% to 25.5%. Russians kept the highest rate, 41.8%.
