Published 2026-11-07 · By Pushbuild · Data: State Campaign Contributions API – Donors to State and Local Campaigns

26.6% of individual contributions to Colorado campaigns in 2025-26 came from donors outside Colorado, the highest share in our data; New York was the largest source. Indiana was 23.1% (mostly Illinois) and Texas 21.1% (mostly California).

The same data shows how concentrated giving is: three donors listing Middleton Oil as employer gave $22.1M, nearly ten times what 1,535 Valero employees gave ($2.3M).

Caveats

Individual contributions with a two-letter donor state only. Illinois and Minnesota filings do not label donors as individuals the same way and are not in this table.
