What it returns
Search EPA-regulated US facilities from EPA ECHO (Enforcement and Compliance History Online) and get one clean record per facility. - **Where and what**: name, address, county, coordinates, NAICS industry, major-facility flag, federal agency. - **Permits**: air (CAA), water discharge (NPDES), hazardous waste (RCRA), toxic release (TRI) and greenhouse gas IDs. - **Compliance**: overall and per-program status, current violation, significant violator, quarters in noncompliance (3 years). - **Enforcement (5 years)**: inspections, informal and formal actions, total penalties, last penalty date and amount. - **Emissions**: TRI on-site releases and off-site transfers (lbs), greenhouse gas CO2 (tonnes). Filter by state, ZIP, city, county, facility name, NAICS code, program, current violations, penalized and major facilities. Useful for ESG and supplier due diligence, environmental consulting leads, real estate risk and journalism.
