What it returns
Professional, occupational and contractor licenses issued by Illinois (Department of Financial and Professional Regulation), Colorado (Department of Regulatory Agencies), Texas (Department of Licensing and Regulation), Connecticut (Department of Consumer Protection), Delaware (Division of Professional Regulation), New York (real estate, appearance enhancement businesses, elevator licenses), Oregon (Construction Contractors Board, Building Codes Division) and Washington (Labor and Industries contractors, Department of Health care credentials), in one schema: state, license type and category, license number, licensee, business name, city, state and ZIP, status, issue, renewal and expiration dates, and disciplinary actions or status reasons where the state publishes them.
Verify a license by number or name, find licensed electricians, nurses, plumbers, cosmetologists or contractors in a city or ZIP, list licenses expiring soon, or count licenses by type, status, city or year. Street addresses and phone numbers are not included.
Colorado license types read as name plus DORA code, for example "Registered Nurse (RN)"; licenseType matches either. Washington health care credentials carry no address, so city and ZIP filters skip them. Illinois marks licenses that were ever disciplined; Delaware lists each action with its dates.
