Qualcomm received more US patents in 2025 than any other S&P 500 company

Qualcomm was granted 3,876 US patents in 2025, ahead of Apple's 3,503 and Alphabet's 2,454. IBM, the leader for decades, received 2,314, down from 9,526 in 2019.
