NVIDIA received 914 US patents in the 12 months to November 7, 2026, against 515 in the 12 months before. Of the 91 S&P 500 companies outside finance with at least 100 grants in the earlier year, 59 received fewer and 32 more. Intuit doubled, from 119 to 240.
