What it returns
Search **every US tax-exempt organization** in the official IRS Exempt Organizations Business Master File, which the IRS updates monthly. Each organization includes: - **EIN, legal name, secondary name, and street address** - **501(c) subsection**, whether **contributions are tax-deductible**, and its public charity or **private foundation** type - **NTEE cause code and category** (health, education, food banks, the arts, religion and more) - **Total assets, income and revenue** from its latest filing, and the tax period they cover - **The ruling date and exemption status**, with a link to the IRS record You can search by name or EIN and filter by state, city, ZIP, cause, 501(c) type, private-foundation status and financial size. Results can be sorted by revenue, assets or name. Use cases: donation and grant verification, fundraising and foundation prospecting, CRM enrichment, nonprofit sales and market sizing.
