Sound familiar?
What finance and operations teams using Power BI tell us before a project starts.
- Our reports refresh late, or fail and nobody notices.
- Two reports show different totals for the same thing.
- The data lives in spreadsheets that people edit by hand.
- I built it years ago and I'm afraid to change it.
- Leadership wants one page and we keep making them a new export.
What we build
Each one is a working piece you can open and check when it's done.
Connecting your sources
Accounting, CRM, database and spreadsheet data brought into one model, using the gateway or connectors your sources need.
ETL and data pipelines API integrations and data syncCleaning and a shared model
Customers, products and dates matched across sources so one total means one thing in every report.
ETL and data pipelinesReports people read
A small number of pages built around the questions your managers ask each week, not a wall of charts.
Dashboards and reportingRefresh you can rely on
Scheduled refreshes with an alert when one fails, and a note on what to do about it.
n8n, Make and Zapier automationTaking over an old report
Reading an existing report, documenting what it does, and repairing or simplifying it.
Dashboards and reportingReplacing the spreadsheet feed
Turning a hand-edited sheet into a form or table with checks, so the report stops reading bad data.
Google Sheets and Apps Script automation Excel and VBA toolsWhat we connect it to: Excel, SharePoint, QuickBooks, Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Sheets, Power Automate.
Industries that use it: Accounting, Manufacturing, Wholesale, Logistics.
Full detail: Dashboards and reporting.
Example projects
Illustrations of the shape of the work, not past clients. Yours gets its own written scope.
Example project
Finance pack
Example: a finance team wants revenue, margin and cash by month from its accounting system on one page, refreshed every morning before the leadership call.
Accounting data, Power BIExample project
Sales pipeline view
Example: a sales manager wants open deals by stage, owner and age from the CRM, with a flag on anything with no activity for two weeks.
CRM, Power BIExample project
Refresh failure alert
Example: an operations team wants a message in Teams when a scheduled refresh fails, with the report name and the error.
Power BI, Power Automate, TeamsQuestions people ask first
Do you work with the data gateway?
Yes. Data held on your own network usually needs Microsoft's on-premises data gateway. We set it up or repair it, and write down who looks after it.
Can you connect Power BI to tools that have no connector?
Often, yes. If the tool has an API or exports, we load the data into a sheet or database that Power BI reads, and say in the scope how fresh it can be.
Who owns what you build?
You do. It is built in your own accounts, and you get notes on how it works so your team can change it without us.
How do we start?
Tell us what you use around Power BI and the one job that wastes the most time each week. We reply with questions or a written scope.
Tell us what you need built.
Email a few lines about what you want and which tools you use, or call. We reply with questions or a written scope.
