Pushbuild

Software that keeps a small manufacturer's quotes, orders and production data connected.

We connect the systems a small manufacturer already runs, so quotes are built from your own costs, orders flow into the shop without retyping and the numbers on the floor reach the people who need them. The scope is written down and agreed before we start.

Sound familiar?

What manufacturers tell us before a project starts.

  • Quotes are built in Excel by one person, and nobody else knows how.
  • Purchase orders arrive as PDFs and someone keys them into the ERP.
  • Production status lives on a whiteboard, and sales has to walk out to ask.
  • Supplier invoices and certificates are filed by hand.
  • Our ERP cannot give us the report we need, so we export and rebuild it every week.

What we build

Each one is a working piece you can open and check when it's done.

Quoting tool from your own costs

Material, labor and machine time rules turned into a quoting sheet or small app, with a clean quote ready to send.

Excel and VBA tools Web apps and MVPs

Purchase order intake

Customer POs read from email or PDF, with part numbers, quantities and dates entered into your order system for review.

PDF and document data extraction ETL and data pipelines

Production status board

Work orders and their stage on one screen, updated from a simple form on the floor and visible to the office.

Notion and Airtable systems Dashboards and reporting

Supplier documents

Invoices, certificates and packing lists read on arrival, filed by supplier and matched to the order.

PDF and document data extraction API integrations and data sync

ERP and spreadsheet bridge

Scheduled exports from your ERP combined with sales and cost data in a clean report that refreshes by itself.

ETL and data pipelines Python scripts and utilities

Customer order updates

Customers get a message when an order is scheduled, shipped or delayed, from the same data your team already enters.

n8n, Make and Zapier automation API integrations and data sync

Manufacturing software we work with: NetSuite, Fishbowl, JobBOSS, Odoo, SAP Business One, Epicor.

And the general tools around it: Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, Airtable, Power BI, Zapier, Make, n8n.

Example projects

Illustrations of the shape of the work, not past clients. Yours gets its own written scope.

Example project

Quote from machine time

Example: a metal fabrication shop prices jobs from material weight, cut time and setup. The rules move from one person's workbook into a tool the whole sales team can use.

Excel, VBA, PDF output

Example project

PO to work order

Example: a custom parts maker receives POs by email. Each is read, and a draft work order is created for the planner to approve.

Gmail, PDF extraction, ERP import

Example project

Weekly production report

Example: a small plant exports open orders from its ERP every Friday. A script builds the on-time and backlog report and emails it to the owner.

ERP export, Python, Google Sheets
Excel quoting tool for a metal fabrication shop (VBA)

  • Price list that refreshes from the supplier's sheet
  • Quote templates by job type and a margin floor check
  • PDF export, Outlook email and a quote log

Excel VBA, custom ribbon XML, Power Query, Outlook automation, QuickBooks Online API

Questions people ask first

Do we have to replace our ERP?

No. Most small manufacturers are better served by connecting the ERP they have to the sheets, forms and reports around it.

Can the shop floor use it with gloves on?

We design the floor forms to be large and short, and test them on the kind of device you use.

Who owns what you build?

You do. It is built in your own accounts, and you get plain notes on how it works so your office can change it without us.

How do we start?

Tell us the systems you use and the report or task that eats the most time. We reply with questions or a written scope.

Tell us what you need built.

Email a few lines about what you want and which tools you use, or call. We reply with questions or a written scope.
