Sound familiar?
What dog daycares and boarding kennels tell us before a project starts.
- We find out a vaccine expired when the dog is already at the front desk.
- Holiday boarding requests arrive by phone, email and text, and we keep them on sticky notes.
- Owners ask for updates all day and the staff stop to text them.
- Package and punch-card balances are tracked by hand.
- Temperament evaluations are paper forms that get lost.
What we build
Each one is a working piece you can open and check when it's done.
Vaccine tracking
Records filed to each dog with expiry dates, reminders to the owner thirty and seven days out, and a flag on the reservation when something is out of date.
n8n, Make and Zapier automation API integrations and data syncReservations and holiday waitlists
A request form that checks capacity, holds a waitlist for peak dates and tells the owner as soon as a spot opens.
Booking and scheduling systemsEvaluation and intake forms
New dog intake, temperament evaluation and waivers collected online before the first visit and attached to the profile.
Web apps and MVPsOwner updates without the typing
Photos and a short note sent to the owner at set points in the day, from a template the staff fill in on a phone.
n8n, Make and Zapier automationPackages, payments and invoicing
Package balances counted down at check-in, low-balance reminders, and boarding invoices sent to the accounting software.
QuickBooks, Xero and HubSpot integrations Stripe integration and billingOne view of the day
Dogs in, dogs due, capacity, vaccine problems and unpaid balances on one screen for the morning shift.
Dashboards and reportingDog daycare software we work with: Gingr, PetExec, Scout, Time To Pet, Pawfinity, DaycareCRM.
And the general tools around it: Google Sheets, QuickBooks, Stripe, Twilio, Typeform, Zapier, Make, n8n.
Example projects
Illustrations of the shape of the work, not past clients. Yours gets its own written scope.
Example project
Expired vaccine alerts
Example: a daycare keeps vaccine dates in its management software. A nightly check lists dogs whose records expire within thirty days, messages the owners, and marks upcoming reservations that need attention.
Management software export, SMS, Google SheetsExample project
Holiday boarding waitlist
Example: a kennel opens holiday boarding requests through one form. Requests beyond capacity go on a waitlist in order, and the next owner is offered a spot when someone cancels.
Web form, Airtable, email and SMSExample project
End of day owner notes
Example: staff fill in a short form per dog on a tablet. Each owner receives a message with the note and a photo at pick-up time.

Do we have to switch software?
No. Most of the work is connecting the management software you already use to the tools around it. If it cannot do what you need, we say so in the scope and lay out the options before anything changes.
Who owns what you build?
You do. It is built in your own accounts, and you get notes on how it works so your team can change it without us.
Can the floor staff use it?
Yes. The staff side is built for a phone or a tablet and for people with a dog on a leash in the other hand, so it is a few taps.
