Sound familiar?
What pet grooming businesses tell us before a project starts.
- No-shows leave holes in the day that we cannot refill in time.
- Clients ask to book by text, Instagram and phone, and we copy it all into the calendar by hand.
- Nobody remembers who is due for a groom in six weeks.
- Vaccine records are photos buried in our messages.
- Notes about a dog's coat, behavior or clipper length live in someone's head.
What we build
Each one is a working piece you can open and check when it's done.
Booking and rebooking
A booking page that offers the right length of time for the breed and service, with a rebooking prompt at checkout and again when the dog is due.
Booking and scheduling systemsReminders that cut no-shows
Text and email reminders with a confirm or reschedule reply, and a waitlist message to the next client when a slot opens.
n8n, Make and Zapier automation API integrations and data syncVaccine records on file
Clients upload proof of vaccination once, it is filed to the pet, and you get a reminder to both of you before it expires.
n8n, Make and Zapier automationPet profiles and grooming notes
Coat type, blade lengths, handling notes and photos kept on the pet, so any groomer can pick up the dog.
Notion and Airtable systemsReview requests
A short message after the appointment with a link to leave a review, held back if the client replied with a complaint.
n8n, Make and Zapier automationOne view of the week
Appointments, no-shows, rebooking rate and revenue by groomer on a single page.
Dashboards and reportingPet grooming software we work with: MoeGo, Gingr, Time To Pet, PetDesk, Square Appointments, Booksy.
And the general tools around it: Google Calendar, Square, Stripe, Twilio, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, QuickBooks.
Example projects
Illustrations of the shape of the work, not past clients. Yours gets its own written scope.
Example project
Due-for-groom reminders
Example: a grooming salon knows each dog's usual interval. Six weeks after the last visit, the owner gets a text with a booking link, and a second one a week later if nothing was booked.
Booking system export, SMS, Google SheetsExample project
Vaccine paperwork before the visit
Example: a mobile groomer asks new clients to upload vaccine records through a form. The file is named for the pet, and a reminder goes out a month before the date on it expires.
Form, Google Drive, scheduled remindersExample project
Open slot waitlist
Example: when a client cancels, the next person on a waitlist for that day is texted, and the slot is held for them for an hour.
Calendar, SMS, a waitlist sheetQuestions people ask first
Do we have to switch software?
No. Most of the work is connecting the booking or salon software you already use to the tools around it. If it cannot do what you need, we say so in the scope and lay out the options before anything changes.
Who owns what you build?
You do. It is built in your own accounts, and you get notes on how it works so your team can change it without us.
Will clients need to download an app?
No. Booking, confirmations and uploads work from a link in a text message on any phone.
