Sound familiar?
What locksmith companies tell us before a project starts.
- We miss calls while the techs are on a job, and the caller rings the next locksmith on the list.
- Dispatch is a group text and a lot of phone calls.
- Customers ask what it will cost and we quote from memory, then argue about it at the door.
- Leads come from Google, directories and our own site, and nobody knows which one is worth paying for.
- Good reviews never get asked for because the tech forgets.
What we build
Each one is a working piece you can open and check when it's done.
Missed-call text-back
Every missed call or web form gets a text within a minute asking for the address and what happened, so the caller stays with you instead of the next listing.
GoHighLevel setup n8n, Make and Zapier automationDispatch to the nearest tech
New jobs go to the right tech by area and availability, with the address, job type and customer number sent to their phone and a status back to the office.
n8n, Make and Zapier automation API integrations and data syncQuotes that match the job
A price sheet by service, time of day and vehicle or lock type, so the office and the tech quote the same number every time.
Google Sheets and Apps Script automation Excel and VBA toolsJob record and invoice
Job details, photos, payment and the invoice kept together and sent to the accounting software without retyping.
QuickBooks, Xero and HubSpot integrationsReview requests after the job
A text goes out after each paid job with the review link, and unhappy replies go to the owner first.
GoHighLevel setupLead source report
Calls, forms and booked jobs by source and by tech, on one page the owner can check weekly.
Dashboards and reportingLocksmiths software we work with: Workiz, Housecall Pro, Jobber, ServiceTitan.
And the general tools around it: GoHighLevel, QuickBooks, Google Sheets, Twilio, Zapier, Make.
Example projects
Illustrations of the shape of the work, not past clients. Yours gets its own written scope.
Example project
Missed call to booked job
Example: a locksmith with three vans misses calls during lockouts. Each missed call gets a text asking for the address, and the reply creates a job in the field-service app for the office to dispatch.
Twilio, GoHighLevel, field-service appExample project
Dispatch by area
Example: a locksmith company covering several towns wants a new job sent to the closest free tech with the address and a tap-to-call link, and the office told when it is accepted.
Zapier or n8n, SMS, Google SheetsExample project
Quote sheet for the phone
Example: an office takes calls for car, home and commercial work and wants one sheet that returns the price range from a few answers, so quotes stop varying by who picks up.
Google Sheets, Apps ScriptQuestions people ask first
Do we have to switch software?
No. Most of the work is connecting your field-service app and phone system to the tools around it. If something can't do what you need, we say so in the scope and lay out the options before anything changes.
Can it work for techs on the road?
Yes. Job details, status updates and review links all work from a phone, so a tech can use them from a driveway or a car park.
Who owns what you build?
You do. It is built in your own accounts, and you get notes on how it works so your office can change it without us.
