Pushbuild

Software that keeps a salon's chairs full and the front desk calm.

We connect the tools a salon already runs on, so a new client can book at midnight, reminders go out without anyone texting by hand, and a client who skipped a visit gets a nudge to come back. The scope is written down and agreed before we start.

Sound familiar?

What salons and barbershops tell us before a project starts.

  • Half our bookings come in by Instagram DM and someone has to copy them into the calendar.
  • No-shows leave a gap in the chair and nobody rebooks the slot.
  • We pay for a booking app, but the website, the texts and the spreadsheet all say different things.
  • Clients haven't been in for ten weeks and we never reach out.
  • Stylists keep their own client notes in their phones and we lose them when someone leaves.

What we build

Each one is a working piece you can open and check when it's done.

Booking that matches the real schedule

A booking page for the website and Instagram bio that respects each stylist's hours, service lengths and buffers, and writes straight into the calendar the team already uses.

Booking and scheduling systems

Reminders and no-show recovery

Text and email reminders, a simple confirm or reschedule reply, and an automatic offer of the freed slot to the waiting list.

n8n, Make and Zapier automation API integrations and data sync

Win-back and rebooking

Clients who are overdue for their usual visit get a short, friendly message, with a booking link, timed to how often they normally come in.

GoHighLevel setup CRM setup and lead pipelines

Review requests after the visit

A thank-you text after each appointment that asks happy clients for a Google review and sends unhappy ones to the owner first.

n8n, Make and Zapier automation

Instagram and web enquiries in one list

Enquiries from the website form and social messages collected in one place, with a quick reply and an owner for each one.

CRM setup and lead pipelines n8n workflows and self-hosting

Chair and staff numbers on one page

Bookings, utilisation by stylist, rebooking rate and no-shows on a page the owner checks on Monday morning.

Dashboards and reporting

Salons software we work with: Square, Fresha, Vagaro, Mindbody, Boulevard, Booksy.

And the general tools around it: GoHighLevel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, Twilio, Zapier, Make, n8n.

Example projects

Illustrations of the shape of the work, not past clients. Yours gets its own written scope.

Example project

Rebooking for regulars

Example: a three-chair salon wants clients who normally come every six weeks to get a text at week seven with a booking link, and the front desk to see who answered.

Booking app exports, Twilio, Google Sheets

Example project

Instagram DM to calendar

Example: a barbershop gets most enquiries by Instagram. Each enquiry is logged, answered with a booking link, and the confirmed time appears on the barber's calendar.

Instagram enquiries, booking link, Google Calendar

Example project

Review requests that go to the right place

Example: a nail studio sends a text two hours after each visit. A five-star reply gets the Google review link, and anything lower goes to the owner as a private message.

Laravel fixes and upgrade for a salon booking platform

Example build

Laravel fixes and upgrade for a salon booking platform

  • Race-condition fix: booking inside a locked database transaction, with a friendly error if a slot is taken
  • Performance: N+1 queries removed, indexes added; p95 page time from 6.8 s to 0.4 s
  • Queued email and notifications
  • Laravel 8 → 11 and PHP 7.4 → 8.3 upgrade, deprecated packages replaced

PHP 8.3, Laravel 11, MySQL, Redis queues, PHPUnit, Larastan, GitHub Actions

Questions people ask first

Do we have to change our booking app?

No. We start from the app you already use and connect it to the website, the texts and the spreadsheet. If it truly can't do what you need, we say so in the scope and lay out the options first.

Will clients get too many texts?

No. We agree the messages with you, set quiet hours, and stop any sequence the moment a client replies or books.

Can the stylists use it from their phones?

Yes. Everything is built to be used from a phone between clients: the booking link, the reply to a text and the day view.

How do we start?

Tell us which booking app you use and the one job that eats the most time each week. We reply with questions or a written scope.

Tell us what you need built.

Email a few lines about what you want and which tools you use, or call. We reply with questions or a written scope.
