Sound familiar?
What freelancers and small firms on FreshBooks tell us before a project starts.
- A client signs, and I add them to FreshBooks, my CRM and my project board separately.
- I track time in one tool and rebuild it into invoices by hand.
- Late invoices go unchased because nobody has time to look.
- Expenses and receipts pile up until the end of the quarter.
- I can't see revenue by client or service without exporting to a spreadsheet.

FreshBooks, Gmail, MakeQuestions people ask first
Does FreshBooks have an API?
Yes, FreshBooks offers an API and works with connectors such as Zapier. We confirm what your plan and use case need before agreeing a scope.
Will the system send invoices without me?
Only if you want that. Most people choose drafts they approve, and automatic sending only for clients and amounts they set.
Can you work with our bookkeeper?
Yes. We ask how categories and tax are set up so the automation follows the same rules.
How do we start?
Tell us where work is first recorded and what you retype into FreshBooks. We reply with questions or a written scope.
Tell us what you need built.
Email a few lines about what you want and which tools you use, or call. We reply with questions or a written scope.
